About Lexington, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Lexington is a small city in East-Central Tennessee. It is positioned between Memphis and Nashville in Henderson County. According to the United States Census Bureau, Lexington was populated by approximately 7,769 people in 2016. It is the largest city in Henderson County.
Lexington is located in a region of the United States that was originally inhabited by Native American Indians. Eventually, individuals of European descent arrived in East-Central Tennessee and began establishing homes, farms, and businesses. Lexington was formed after the creation of Henderson County in 1821. Officials decided a county seat needed to be established and they chose a site near the center of the county. The officials named the new community Lexington. In 1823, the first county courthouse was built and in 1824 Lexington became an incorporated municipality.
Modern-day Lexington is a charming, small city. It is home to a quaint downtown that features locally owned businesses and the beautiful Henderson County Courthouse. The city is nearby many recreational activities including Beech Lake, a large body of water that features fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. In Lexington, Tennessee, there is something for everyone.
It is necessary for residents of Lexington to have cooling and heating systems installed in their homes. The city is located in a region of the United States that is susceptible to warm, humid summers and cool winters. During the months of June, July, and August, the average daytime temperature highs range from the upper-80s to low-90s. In addition to warm temperatures, precipitation is common during the summer months. Professional HVAC technicians recommend residents have cooling systems like central air conditioning units installed in their homes. The systems help residents stay cool and comfortable inside their homes when temperatures rise.
Lexington residents should also have heating systems installed in their homes. During the months of December, January, and February, the average daytime temperature highs range from the mid-40s to low-50s. At night, temperatures will drop well below freezing. Also, snowfall is possible. HVAC technicians recommend furnace heating systems for Lexington residents. During the winter months, the systems protect residents and their homes from potential damages caused by harsh winter weather conditions.
